The Protexus sprayer is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery with 4 hours of battery life. The battery is charged with the charger that is included.

After use:

After use (empty tank), we recommend rinsing the sprayer with clean water. Disinfectants can build up deposits over time which can reduce the performance of the sprayer. This is particularly evident in the nozzle, which can be removed and cleaned. Read how to clean the nozzle in the next section.

We also recommend that any excess liquid in the nozzle area is wiped off with a dry cloth.

Storage for a longer time:

It is important that the sprayer is not stored for a long time with liquid in the tank. If the sprayer is to be stored for a longer period, empty the tank and flush the sprayer with clean water - make sure that all excess liquid in the pump is atomized before storing.

The nozzle may become blocked after prolonged use – this may reduce the sprayer's ability to atomize the liquid. To prevent and prevent this, we recommend that the nozzle is regularly cleaned:

1. Remove the nozzle using the nozzle tool provided. Insert the nozzle tool into the nozzle and turn counter-clockwise, then the nozzle will loosen.
2. Prepare a solution of warm soapy water and lower the nozzle into the soapy water. Leave the nozzle in the soapy water overnight.
3. Insert the nozzle into the sprayer using the nozzle tool. Insert the nozzle into the nozzle tool and now insert it into the sprayer by turning clockwise.

If the nozzle is still blocked, limescale remover can be used with advantage.

There can be several reasons why the sprayer does not atomize the liquid. If the sprayer has been emptied of liquid, it may take some time before the liquid is atomized out of the nozzle - in some cases it requires different movements before the sprayer atomizes the liquid optimally.

1. The nozzle has stopped. If the nozzle is blocked, we refer to the guide on how to clean the nozzle.
2. The nozzle is not inserted correctly. If the nozzle is not inserted correctly, the sprayer will not atomize the liquid. Here, remove the nozzle with the nozzle tool and insert it again.
3. The battery must be charged. If the sprayer does not spray optimally, the battery may need to be charged. Therefore, charge the battery with the charger that is included.
4. The sprayer has a leak. If the sprayer still does not atomize the liquid optimally, there may be a leak. Contact us here for further instructions.

The sprayer can be used with all water-based liquids.

However, we recommend contacting us before using the sprayer with liquids other than ALLDES.

The sprayer must not be used with alcohol or oil-based liquids!

On the handheld model, you can turn the electrostatic function on and off at the top of the sprayer.

The optimal spray distance from the surface is 1 - 1.5 meters. When the entire surface is moist and does not form "drops", the surface is properly disinfected.
